Bearded tit backlit
Wonderful birds they are. Always a pleasure seeing them. I was standing in the middle of a reed bed and te birds were feeding on seeds. So now and then they landed on the ground to look for food. One almost hopped on my shoe. Very funny little creatures.
I was hand helding my camera to be more flexible in these reed beds.

iso 200 1/250 sec. f/5.6 Nikon 200-400 and 1.4TC hand held

Superb shot. The lighting and colours are a pleasure to behold. I still haven't managed to see one of these for myself.

Must be one of the best I have seen of this species Edwin... there is a great sense of the environment inspite of it being kept to the minimum... this is one I would like framed on my wall...
