Happy Christmas to you all. I have saved my best shot for today. This was taken from the summit of Cairngorm looking west as the sun set to the left of the Grey Corries, Aonach Mor, Aonach Beag and Ben Nevis behind. We had waited for about 45 minutes for the sun to go down. I zoomed in to keep the sun just out of shot so as to prevent flare which had been causing problems. It was something I will never forget.

Excellent atmospheric image, I like it as it is, however, cropped to panoramic by taking the top 20% off to just below the brightest band across the sky makes it work better to my eye, good work!

Wonderful image. Wish we had some mountains. I'm sure I would be there forever.
