About a week ago I was able to get over to Canyonlands after fresh snowfall. Locals said it was the most snow sine 1979. Saw these unique lines in the Green River Overlook area.

canyonlands abstract lines- sometimes there is more than one shot from the same location without moving the tripod.

I love the abstract lines image, Bob. All are really nice but that one is the standout, IMHO. Good work!

Bob,
#1 gets my vote. I like the way the snow and sunlight combine to give the true feeling of depth from this viewpoint. Cliff

Funny, I've always worked under the misguided perception that this is a sunset location. Clearly I need to drive right on past DHP and Mesa Arch next time I'm out there. I like em all but #1 is my favorite.

These are some fine snowscapes of a place that just doesn't see that much snow!
I like 'em all, but the last one is unique. I would increase the brightness and saturation on the underside of Mesa Arch a bit were this mine.
Your timing and draggin' out of bed early paid off well here!

Wow, what spectacular conditions! I like them all too. #1 could be awesome, but the sky needs some correction--its too dark and cyan.

Bob, What a great series. #1 is my favorite. The patterns in the snow picture is very creative. Nice work!

Very nice work Bob. I have to say the first one is my favorite, but also like the patterns in the last one.

#1 is spectacular ... for the reasons stated. Love the color palette too. Don't "correct" the color balance, I say.
