Sorry I haven't posted much here lately... busy, busy, busy. I finally got out shooting this morning and was treated to a nice sunrise at Jackson Lake.
Terrific, Jack! I agree with others that the pano is awesome, but I like the grasses quite a lot too.

Really nice. That fog bank/low cloud really is the icing on the cake.
Looks like you are really having a terrible time in JH and probably cannot wait to get back behind a desk at home

Outstanding work!
When I opened your gallery of images from that morning, the first one of the illuminated Mt. Moran just slapped me upside the head.
What a wonderful way to wake up!

Thanks for looking!
Oh, btw: Canon 5D2 @ 113mm, two image stitch
Todd - yes I was able to drive to the lake. The road is plowed to the Signal Mtn. campground. These were all taken right by the dam.
gorgeous shot, those warm colors contrast nicely with the bitter cold Mt. Moran.

Wow, am I jealous! Living in two awesome locations at the peak of each location's seasons is my dream! You are living the "Good Life"!!!
Have you heard of or seen any wolves in the Refuge yet?
You can hit sunrise photo ops in GTNP, head over to Jackson Hole for some turns on the board, and then be back in the park for sunset!
