Where's my meal worms?
Carolina wren waiting for breakfast. Maybe not too happy that the meal worms are late today.

Happy New Year everyone!

Very cool Larry, the words fit this perfectly! I grew up with wrens always around my grandmothers house and have a deep affection for them. I have always thought of them as the friendly little ones singing the happy song. Looks like they can become quite the demanding little creatures as well.

Great title for this shot Larry! The wren does appear to be a bit put off from your delay in setting the table. How dare you be late with dinner!

Happy New Year to you! :wavey:

Wayne had it right--he DOES look puffy and put off.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks like it is cold there. No doubt your Wren needs the food to stay warm! Nicely captured.

Wrens are definitely one of my favorites to watch. I've never been able to get one to sit still long enough to get a good photograph though. Guess I need to try some mealworms...seems to get their attention quite well!

Great shot Larry, wrens have always been one of my favorite birds...I might be a little scared of them now after seeing this photo!
