Hope you've had an enjoyable Christmas with friends and family.
I took a trip to my local kite feeding station yesterday with the intention of something a bit arty. Not sure if I've pulled it off! Black and white conversions are something I haven't really experimented with but I'm here to learn so your feedback is welcome.
Thanks,
Chris

You have pulled it of for me Chris Love the composition and the blur, the lack of frame works well and gives the image a sense of space as though the bird could fly off the page,B+W treatment looks great.hope you had a nice christmas and happy new year

Depends on the context it's used in Chris but as a 'book image', it works for me.

I like it, works for me, movement and enhanced sense of space.

I bought a huge charcoal sketch of something very similar years ago. Only it had showed a peregrine going in on a hare.
Like it a lot.

Like it a lot.
A brave but well executed image. The level of motion blur and the comp are both spot on, as is the bw treatment
Well done
