Well i've been hovering in the back ground for months, viewing some amazing images and gaining inspiration for future images..

Hi Mick,

Welcome to UKNP. Good image to kick off with.

Personally I think there could be some more space on the right hand side. On my current monitor it looks like it could do with some more contrast. If the +2/3 was -2/3 I think it would have helped. Mind you, by the time you dial in something else, the moment can pass.

I look forward to more!

Hi Michael :wavey:

nice first post not too worried about the lack of space on the RHS but it could do with a little more punch

Would ideally prefer it off the ground but this is how you often see them - lovely image, perhaps a wee bit more contrast.

Hey Michael

Good on you for your honesty regarding the composite and it is a very nice image. If I was to crop it anywhere I would crop off the bottom and then take a little off the left.

Best wishes for 2010

Hi Michael

cracking crest, perhaps darken a tadge or boost the contrast, still a cracking bird and image
