Fossilised mud
Been busy with other stuff lately, landscapes and closeup work.

Shot this Fossilised mud in Saltwick bay, I spent an entire day looking for something eye catching, there is such a large amount of things stuffed into a small area.

A very nice abstract image Tim. Excuse my ignorance but what is the cause of the blue colour? Is that how the fossil actually appears or is it reflection from sky or what?
David, I though of posting a pic of my Christmas Turkey which I found to be the best bird without feathers this year!

Hi Robert,

The rock is a blueish grey colour, that coupled with the dark lighting and velvia pumping everything up a notch, gives it the blue cast.

Different and eye catching, but it's not strong enough to hold my eye for long.
Patterns are ok, but maybe with strong directional lighting they could get some more life.
