Flock Of Dunlin+Pano
Photo of a flock of Dunlin flying past me on a very cold ,early morning on the north Norfolk coast,I used a slow shutter speed to give me this effect and have left it 'as shot' with some birds clipped.

Nice one Craig, the clipped birds dont bother me when this number of birds are in shot.

I like the effect you have achieved, Craig. Worth the cold wait IMHO. I hope you get more comments than I have with my sprouts   :wavey:

Hello Buddy!!

Nice shot, would be tempted to crop the blue from the top just to see as my eye keeps getting drawn there but thats just me!! Might look good as mono!

Nicely seen and captured!!

Hey Craig

I agree with CC about the blue strip along the top and I definitely think that you're right about leaving the clipped birds in, an image like this would look strange if it only contained perfectly framed birds. Good stuff

I prefer the first one Craig - the second feels compressed to me.

I understand the comments regarding the blue, and ideally the whole bg would be the same colour, but I feel the shot needs that little extra height.

Very nice. :toast:

I love this compo Craig, it's beautiful and natural, I like them both with perhaps the edge on the first one.
Best wishes for 2010. :wavey: :wavey:

Works very well, like this artistic impression of nature.

First for me. Just the right shutterspeed too.

Good new year to you when it comes :toast:

Great shot Craig, I prefer the second one as the horizon puts me off the first.
