"One of my favorite Web sites to browse through when I have an extra minute or two in my day is the Nature Photographers Online Magazine, which is the official site of the Nature Photographers Network.™
"Basically, it's a place of pure online beauty where amateur and professional photographers who are dedicated to the art and technique of nature, wildlife and landscape photography gather for discussion, reviews and gallery posts."
Jim, thank you sharing this article. Congratulations to you Guy on this publication. It was a very informative narration of that by chance encounter, especially as reclusive & stealthy that most all mountain lions can be.

I remember clearly reading Guy's article shortly after I began my own photographic journey. It gave me inspiration and a hint of what could be waiting for me in nature. I have since had my own encounter with a lion while alone waiting to photograph Long's Peak at sunrise.
Mine is a story that will remain untold lest my wife ever let me venture out in the wilderness alone again! But as Guy so eloquently conveyed to his readers, I've never felt so vunerable and alive at the same time.
Congrats on the reprint Guy. It's great that a new audience will get to join in your experience.

I particularly appreciated seeing something unusual for the web under the photo:
