Amazing how Goldeneye take off! And the second shot shows the tail feathers really spread out!
I'm still working on getting a good shot of a Goldeneye!

Is it possible to get in front of them and mf and take the shot as they enter into focus?

I'm sure a frontal shot would be much better than a butt shot! In order to do that I'd need a blind, a lot of patience and amazing luck to know when and which way they were going to fly and some thermal underwear I suppose. Could be tricky.
