And ofcourse that should be a Kingfisher image..
I have had some great moments with these blue beauties again this summer and hope next year they will be there again.
Chose to stay away from the rule of thirds for this one and picked central composition on purpose..
I would like to wish all of you a photofantastic 2010 in good health and may the light be with you..
Greetings,

I think I would prefer a little off the RH side, but with such a great picture it's hard to be critical.
Happy New Year to you too - I look forward to the new crop of kingfisher shots as well as your other posts.

Next year I am camping at this place Wonderful shot and the beak open just adds to the image, alittle over to the right for me ,but saying that the central composition does work well, beautiful detail and colours,a happy new year Jeroen

Very best for 2010, I don't think this is your best kingfisher but it's still a very good shot
Cheers
Andy
