Wonderful photograph and perfect title! I haven't gotten down to Yachats since the early 90s. Your image makes me think I'm due.

I can see why this is your favorite stretch of Oregon Coast. Wow. I like the lightness and happiness to it. Most photos like this get mysterious and dark.

Thanks for the nice words..Im not real happy with how the compression for web got this one..
May try a different sharpening technique for this site...

Excellent Andrew! One of my favorite spots too although, so far, the weather has not yet produced the type of shot I am after.

Why not put this in the ESS forum?

Andrew, I've looked at this a number of times and was surprised I hadn't commented yet. Compression aside, this is a terrific comp and wonderful execution. I love the misty, surreal, Lord of the Rings feel of this image. Well done.
