Tuesday evening I went with my family to the Denver Botanical Gardens to view the holiday lights. I had my Olympus SP510UZ and decided to shoot some camera-moving-abstracts. It was so much fun and the images are so neat I wanted to share a few with you all. In terms of art, I suppose this is a little like throwing oil-paint at a canvas. But, the results are really cool and it's fun to do. I'm also inspired to do a bit of this with my landscapes.

Pretty cool alright!
I've never seen this done before, and I really like the results.
What shutter speed did you use?

Those are cool Rod. I took a couple rolls of Kodak Ektachrome 320T up there and hope they came out. Haven't had them processed yet.

John, I simply set the Olympus SP510UZ on Automatic and fired. Next time I have the opportunity I will take my Nikon D2Xs and do it right, experimenting with shutter speeds, etc.
I neglected to mention that I allowd my 7-year-old grandson to use the camera and he made some nice images too. More importantly, he had fun with a camera in his hands.
Todd, I too thought of ice cream at the sight of #1. :)

Rod- Great stuff! Even OLD guys can come up with something new! Will have to try it soon.

Wow! They told us in the 60's that stuff stayed in our systems forever and could flashback at any time but I didn't believe them!
Neat stuff. The first 3 would make an amazing triptek.
