This is a 22 minute video that I really enjoyed watching. Just wanted to share it as a positive way to start out 2010.

Celebrate what's right with the world - Dewitt Jones

Our school district ran one of Dewitt's videos two years ago at the beginning of the school year. Every teacher in the district was there, and I've never heard more positive comments about anyone. I love listening to him speak.

Thanks for the link Brad - good food for thought for the coming year.

Hey Brad,
I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit and yahoo won't load this without a new Adobe and Adobe says they don't have an updated version for 64-bit.

What's the jist of this presentation. I ask because I alway get jumpy when one person or a small organization start telling everyone else what is "positive". Most of the time it's OK but that's the problem; people lose "discernment"...

And all recommended actions ALWAYS have untintended consequeneces--some good, some bad. That's where discernement comes into play.

Hey Fisch, just run your browser in 32-bit mode.

Yeah what Bill says Larry. I would have a hard time believing anyone would not think this anything but positive in many ways. Dewitt does a wonderful job of story telling through experiences and photography.

Let me briefly answer your question without trying to sounding like a Dalai Lama. In my opinion positive is is a way of looking at ones own life and realizing we are not here to be recognized for our own accomplishments or even existence, but to recognize others for theirs and to appreciate what is before us. Why dwell on the negatives in life when, if one simply looks around there are so many things to be uplifted by.
And a small quote from Dewitt, "Do you believe it when you see it"? Or does one "See it, when they believe it"?
