I bought some fresh ingredients and found I needed to modify my chemistry recipe and development times since it was making stuff a little too dense. When drum scanning B/W I like my negs on the slightly thinner side. This shot is from a beech tree root I found on the west coast while hiking north of the Franz Josef glacier. I really like the intricate details, curves and shadows in this shot.

Very nice Rich! Alot going on in there - all postive energy. I also like the detail, curves and shadows. Would love to see a print. Can you bring one to the Shindig?

I love the black and white treatment and the textures. Great luminosity, too. I don't find this composition to be as cohesive as what I'm used to seeing from you though, Richie.

Very nice composition especially in BW. Eye is in motion all of the time and continually inspecting different details.
