I find exploring around these small waterways more fun in the winter than any other time of the year. Especially when there's snow around.

The contrast between the dark yet verigated colors in the stream contrast with the dappled snow. The texture on the snow is extraordinary. The slightly obliqueness of the brown flowing through the photo is necessary for this fine work.
