Knot in flight.
Taken earlier this year at the Ythan Estuary, north of Aberdeen.
EOS 1D3, 500mm, ISO 400, 1/2500th at F8.

I like the inclusion of the sand dunes here as without will make the flock a bit lost and plain. Good capture.

Hi Phil

Always nice to see images of familiar species in different locations i.e not Snettisham. It's a nice group and I like the habitat inclusion, my only nit is that the light looks a tad harsh and contrasty on my screen

Like the oof dunes adds a 3D effect to the image,lovely capture of the birds also.very nice :wink: :wavey:
