Blue Moon Rising - Flint Hills
In an effort to end a bizzare year in my life on a high note I got out in the Flint Hills for sunset/moonrise on New Years Eve. I had hoped for an even more colorful sunset sky to welcome the rising moon but as you know, we take what we get.

Happy New Year everyone. I wish you each good health, happiness and prosperity in 2010.

35 mm, .5 sec @ f/16, ISO 200, cropped to pano

Nicely done Wayne, reminds me of Ansel Adams "Moonrise, Hernadez, New Mexico" a bit.

Nice use of the pano with the Blue Moon, Wayne. Man, it looks cold in your neck of the woods!

The pano works perfectly here, Wayne. I like the snow on the Flint Hills.

Nice job, Wayne. I like the pano and the lighting. You sure had more snow and more clouds than we did,

Nicely done, Wayne. Much more than a "take what you can get shot"!

Really nice pano Wayne. Great winter color scheme as well.
