Redpoll & Twite
One from the scottish week,a field had been set aside by the local farmer and planted with seed bearing plants, this in turn attracted a huge flock of birds.....Twite/Redpoll/Linnet/Chaffinch/Bullfinch/Greenfinch/Reed Bunting.
They moved up and down the field and I sat in the vehicle and was lucky enough to have them come down right alongside.

Nikon D300,500F4AFS/2,1.4X/beanbag/vehicle/snow/-15!

Absolutely cracking shot Craig and beautiful light. Just out of interest which bird left first i.e have you any with just the redpoll because that is one special looking bird. Completely agree with Kim above, well done for making your own luck. :toast:

Cheers

Nice stuff Craig - still not got up there to have a look. I agree with Andy P - the redpoll on the top is the real drawer.
