This was taken somewhere west of Fossil Or. last spring. I really liked the hills in this area so got out and hiked them, took a few shots and we got back to the car just as the pouring rain hit. I liked the eroded looking profile on the left hillside. Anyway, your comments and or critiques are appreciated. Slight dodging on the some of the grass and some of the hill side.
Good subdued color here. The orange doesn't pop too much allowing the entire seen to work in harmony.
The biggest problem with this shot is the white area near the top left thirds corner. Take some color from the clouds to hide it. It took me a while to find this problem, but it really hurts to see that white area pop out.

One goal on my "To Do" list is to photograph the eastern sides of WA and OR. Seems like I'm always driving through instead of stopping and appreciating. The bluffs and grasses, etc., make great subjects.
