Female Cardinal
Just to show I shoot other things here is a Female Cardinal that was hanging around today. There is some cracked corn on the ground and the birds were taking advantage of it. This one was waiting her turn so I grabbed the camera and took her picture.
1000mm eq 1/640 F10 ISO 400 cropped 50% to isolate bird.

I never doubted your subjects! Nice shot, I would crop the bottom shadow on the snow, but that's it.

Thanks for you faith in me, Bruce. You are right it is a lot better with the bottom cropped.

Nice light here with an unusual pose (sitting on snow). She looks cold! I agree with the crop suggestion as well.

Very nice lighting, Kendall. The Cardinal looks like she's waiting very patiently for her turn. I too, agree with the crop.
