My wife and I spent Christmas in Bremerton WA taking care of her father. We were right in between, the Olympic Mountains, the North Cascades and Mt. Rainier. However, Bremerton was pretty ugly and there was no time to go to any of these great places.

I did get this one image while stopping at an overlook on the way up.

Beautiful frosty greens, Dan, I like the mist drifting through the trees, too, well done :toast:

I lived in the bottom of a dry dock in Bremerton for over a year while my Navy ship was being refitted. Ugly doesn't begin to decribe it.

On the other hand, the Olympics and North Cascades are wonderful. Too bad you did not have time to tour.

Loving the ghostly fog creeping through the bottom of the image Treeman.

It's amazing how much a little frost and fog can add to a scene. Nicely composed and captured!

Cool looking layered scene, with some nice fog thrown in.

The frost and fog really make this. The pattern in the trees is nice too. Great find, Dan.

I love that fog creeping through the trees, and the subtle colors add to the mood.

This is gorgeous, Dan. Beautiful layering and soft light. The dusting of snow and touch of fog are icing on the cake.
