One from last Tuesday (the 29th) that has really grown on me over the past week. 5 shot pano, haha just kidding I cropped it to 2:1. I was shooting a water tower when these guys decided to land right in front of me. I had to change ISO, turn mirror lock off and loosen up the tripod head. I managed to change everything except the aperture, it was still on f/9.5. I got lucky and it worked out okay. Here is some tech info. 210mm F/9.5 ISO 800 1/30 sec

Here is the water tower shot I was taking before they landed. I had a tough time getting the colors to look right on it. It was really really red in reality but I didn't want it to look overdone. This was at 190mm cropped to 2:1.

Both are very nice Matt. The geese shot... Wow!.... good job panning to maintain sufficient sharpness in the overall shapes, while the blurry wings adds a lot of energy. The water tower shot is awesome... the water tower adds a sense of scale to the clouds. Good job.

Beautiful shots, ditto to what John said about both of them.
