Wintry dipperscape
it might be a bit small in the frame for this size, so you'll have to take my word for it that the the speck on the right is a dipper

have cropped it to 5x4 as i felt the top and bottom unbalanced the image

40D + 14-24mm
cropped from top and bottom

Hi Jack

I will take your word that its a Dipper

Very nice landscape and lighting but it looks like the water is going downhill to the left ?

or is it just me

Lovely setting and lighting but dippersacpe might be pushing it a bit!!!!

Really like the rising mist off the water and irt works well enough as a landscape!

Lovely image, but I find the sun a bit to overpowering as my eye is drawn to it.

Hi Jack,

What a nice image. You might hate me for saying this but I'd be tempted to clone out the dipper (!) and treat it as a landscape. The sun is very bright but doesn't ruin the shot. Was this near Braemar where you were walking?

Nice Idea jack and really like everything about the shot apart from the brightness of the sun.
