The blue moon inspired me to process an image I took this summer on Beaver Lake. I liked the muted color pallet and who can pass up a full moon reflecting on the water.
I combined two exposures so the moon would not be over exposed.

Good to see you posting again Ed. I like the color pallet on this, and it's well composed.

Very nice mood! I'm glad you're able to get out and about! Looking forward to seeing more.
I saw this on the blog and was wondering if it was a current shot. I sort of feel like a dumb dumb since it is pretty obvious it is not a current shot. The trees are green, duh. Nice job on the blending.
Very nice Ed. It's beautiful down where you are from and I always enjoy your photos.

Very nicely done Ed. Only nit I can see is maybe clone out the bluff/house on the upper right? Just a bit detracting IMO.

I guess this is an older shot... Well, I'm looking forward to seeing some new stuff when you're all healed.

Great to see you posting Ed. Hope your recovery continues to exceed all expectations. Really nice shot here, a nice combination of elements and what looks like some very high water.
Thanks for sharing .... can't wait to see some new work from you!

The fusion of two photos allowed the moon detail to come through as you already know. Having taking a lot of moon shots I know how frustrating it can be. Even two quik shots can have movement problems.
Reflection is nice, too.

Ed, nice shot you dug out of the archives. I hope your recovery is going well and that you will be out and about doing your thing again soon!
Wonderful shot Ed. I always enjoy seeing the moon in a picture. One thing, the reflection is brighter than the moon itself (at least on my monitor), so I would probably tone it down a little but other than that....love it! We have never met, but I have heard so many great things about you and I am looking forward to meeting you someday. Glad you are back.
