A splash of colour .. grey wagtail

This grey wagtail provided a welcome splash of colour in a world of white .. kicking myself for not taking more depth of field to get more of the tail !!

Hi Dave,

I quite like the depth of field as is. If you star viewing the image from the left it leads into the sharp end quite nicely.

Lovely colours all round.

It is always easy to kick yourself after the event. I would have preferred a lightly higher pov so that all of the bird was against a white background, but that may simply be asking too much. Nice shot on a cold day!

I'm OK with the dof as the important bits are sharp but the line of the background running along the top of the head does spoil it a bit for me. However, that said, the detail and colouration are excellent.
