Bird in a bush
Jay
Room window again. Whites a little blown and a bit noisy but not the best of days
Got him coming evry 10 minutes. Only problem is he has a badly twisted feather on the wing secondaries, a funny misplaced iris in one eye, and a crossed beak end.
probably why hes got no friends.
I like him though. had a great two days with the stuff in the snow and me nice and warm in the room.
D200
Usual set up
640 ISO
80th @f7.1
Spot metering. EV down 1
Cheers

Like it John - I've been enjoying some of the same with a pair of Jays visiting one of my garden feeding stations while I shoot from the warmth of the house

Hi John
Lovely shot with good detail and through a window. I have tried to get some shots trough a window but failed mine never look so crisp. Good looking bird flaws and all

I like the way the the bird is set in what is to me such typical Jay habitat John. The ones around here won't touch the feeders nearer to the house.
Robert.
