Snowy Jay
Haven't posted (or been out with the camera) much in recent weeks due to family illness/bereavement but here's one captured in the garden from the warmth of the house

Hello Jeff.

Love the setting to this and the composition is spot on for the image.

Geat composition, which captures current conditions perfectly. Sorry to hear about your family bereavement.

the snow covered branches make for a very unusual, but effective, background. I like this a lot.

Sorry to hear of your problems.

Really like this. Lovely setting - nearly has a stain glass window appearance. :wavey:

Perfect example of a bird in winter habitat.
Love the patterns of the snow covered branches.

Don't think this would have worked at all w/o the snow

A lovely image Jeff. The snow definitely makes it. My missus just popped in and said it would make a good jigsaw picture !!

Great little shot and composition, although would probably chop about 1cm off the right. Would make a nice portrait shot too.
