I had always wanted to see Chase County falls frozen so I got up early and headed out this morning. I thought after all the cold we have had, and especially the last few days, there would be lots of ice. The temp was -5 according to my car's gauge. I was hoping for some sun and blue skies to add a little color but it was foggy (frozen of course) when I got there.
Thanks for looking.

Nice shot Ken...That's some cold temps, but worth the effort! Thanks for sharing

Nice image, and sure a cold looking one. This would look really good on the wall in the middle of the summer. Not when it is 9 degrees F outside like it here in Springfield.

great detail throughout, Ken, and a different look at the falls than one normally sees

Nicely done Ken. I was thinking about this place and wondering what it looked like, you've captured it very well!

Beautiful shot Ken! I was wondering what these falls would look like right, but wasn't brave enough to head down there, glad you were!

It's really neat to see this spot captured in extreme weather. Wonderful detail throughout and nice control of the whites in this winter waterfall. Good stuff Ken!

This is very cool, Ken. There is certainly a lot of details that keep my eyes looking. I'm like many others - I've wondered what this looks like when there was some water running and it froze. Nice work!!

Great job controlling the tones in this shot, Ken. I took a lot of frozen waterfall shots this past weekend, and when I go to process them I will be referring to your photo as a goal to shoot for, though I doubt mine will be half as nice.
