Well,

I hemmed and hawed all day should I go or should I stay now. Well I pumped this thing up for the CANP guys I better go. Palos Verdes has sure changed in the year I haven't been down there. But you can't change the view from certain places. Pt. Vincente fishing access about 5:15 tonight.

Olympus E-500 ISO 100 f9 1/6

You see I wasn't exagerating about the sunsets

Second Shot to the West into the Sunset

I like them both very much, Paul. The first is more subdued and very
lovely. The second one is more vibrant and intense. In the first you
might consider about a half inch crop from the top and see if you like
it. Nevertheless, I like it just as it is.

Beautiful sunset, thanks for sharing.

Killer sunset Paul. The first one works nicely with the curve of the sea foam and the timing of the wave hitting the rock. Second one is dark, but sure shows off the intensity of the sky. Thanks for posting this as well as the NW swell info.

Paul
The colors on both images are rell vibrant with the second being my personal favorite.
I agree with Robert on the second image regarding the crop on the top of the image and I would suggest the same distance on the bottom as well.

Paul,

Spectacular colors at one of my favaorite places to shoot from in SoCal - Point Vicente. Along the Central Coast we have had some pretty spectacular sunsets and even more vibrant sunrises lately. I sure love Winter time along the CA coast.

Do you ever shoot with the lighthouse in the frame also? Just curious. That is a great location for nightshots as well.

You gotta love it when the cloud deck gets under lit like that. For a few minutes everything takes on a surreal quality of light that is just magical.
