Otter Having a Meal
Hello all,

I'm new to the forum so (deep breath) here is my first contribution. It was taken in the Inner hebrides a few days ago and the drive back home to Oxfordshire was quite hairy... anyhow, I hope you all like it.

Thanks Mark  It was a fantastic trip, the opportunites were rich and plentiful and I did my best to do them justice :toast:

Lovely shot, John. Nicely composed and I'm glad you've not been tempted to clone out the kelp (as some would) as it gives it a sense of place. You've done well getting a sharp image at 1/100s as well.

Thanks Liam, the light was fantastic but I did have to wait a while for it... I had better opportunities on the first day but the light was dull.

Simon, I am pleased you commented on the kelp as I had hoped it would add interest and balance the otter in the frame. I actually took this at 1/1,000th sec so I have corrected my typo to reflect this
