I was of course totally innocent of the charge..

Always a treat to get Red Squidgers in front of the lens..
Mark - stop winging and drive, and Alan, drop the bit with the peach and it'll all be very laudable!
Really beautiful, the sort of light that only snow on the ground can create.

You already know my thoughts , and yes it was 500 miles ..LOL
Esso say I can have shares next time I go. Apparantly a Boeing 747 uses less fuel to get to New York , so they said I could have some ....gratis . MOAN MOAN .........
trees being cut tomorrow....LOL
Spare a thought 10 hours in a motor with no radio .....with Andy .....
Well these guys are showing well at present Andy. tThe slightly 'offset' POV works well and the 'sprinkling' of snow on the body sets the scene. Based on the conditions, 'snow time' would be nice to see them in it. The black BG certainly throws the image out.
Glad to hear you found the 'dif' stick otherwise we might have got to see these chaps

Lovely image, snow and eye contact make it for me. I wish we had some of these guys in the south

Andy
Great shot but the perch is just too dominant for me.. Not that I have anything better (nothing at all really ) !

Brilliant! Lighting is exquisite.

Fantastic image. Beautifully processed too. Personally I would like to see a bit more of the tail (but this is a subjective nit). Great light...
500 miles is a long way - our small group did 689 miles the weekend before last...so tiring! but the hardwork pays off in the end.

Top drawer Andy but then I really wouldn't expect anything less.

As much as I really like this shot a lot for the Squirrel, pose, moss, stump and the way it conveys the character of the species, I have a slight problem with the black background, diurnal species, nocturnal(ish) setting!
Lovely image. Like the flecks of snow on the squirrel. Also like the black background as I thinks it makes the image pop.
They are getting to be two a penny these Red Squirrel shots though. Couldn't you find something different like a Robin?

All been said, but that's a belter Andy. Magic lighting and the background makes it better for me

An exquisite image but I also feel the black background is rather out of context

I bet that's even more impressive at a larger size. Super shot.
Liam - Don't know where you live, but haven't you got them on Brownsea island?? Can't get much more south than that. Eric
Certainly a different background, lovely colour and a nice perch there Andy.

Fabulous shot Andy.

Oh! This really works for me Andy, the black BG and interesting perch with Tufty on top works really well for me.

Hello Andy.
Beautifully Captured and the bark background works a treat with this image. Good choice of composition and love the snow flakes on the squirrel, just adds a nice touch to it.
