Another from several visits to the fens around the Welney, Pymoor & Manea area to document the Whoopers and farmland, its not that visible at this size, but it was snowing hard!

Another great, atmospheric shot, Nigel. Only (minor) nit for me is the two rearmost birds being almost touching. Maybe you could consider cloning out the backmost bird?

Hey Nigel

I really like this and am surprised it hasn't been commented on more. It's a beautiful scene with wonderful gentle lighting and full of interesting aspects for the eye to enjoy, really nice image.

Cheers

Andy

I like it too . Perhaps a reframe to the left pulling the barn on a third ?I agree that the rear swan should go.

Reminds me of a Peter Scott painting. Lovely shot.

Many thanks all; any other framing would have meant either a bungalow or a derelict Ford Transit in the shot!

Like the activity in this one Nigel. Much better than the singular bird flying over + the addition of the surroundings including the old barn.

Lovely muted colours giving a real impression of winter. Bags of atmosphere and plenty of interest for the eye to wander over. Like it as it is.

Very nice work Nigel, love the depth in the image and the proper winter feeling. It does feel a little off balance for me - maybe crop a little from the right and bottom?
