Red-shouldered Hawk

The birders here in Colorado are excited that we have a Red-shouldered Hawk which is a very rare visitor. I posted a photo on the Avian forum. Cool bird. Looks like it has been hanging around for 2 weeks or so so might be here for a little longer.

That's funny...I actually came here to see if anyone had gone down to shoot the snowy owl in El Paso county. I assumed that there would be people here on the cobirds list.

Anyway, that's a really nice shot of the hawk.

Nick Moore will go down to El Paso with you, he wants to film the owl! (So do I but I cant be bothered to drive all that way!)
