I just published a new blog entry about my experience calibrating a 24" Apple iMac. If you own an iMac or are thinking of purchasing one you might find the article helpful. Check out "The iMac Calibration Conundrum".

Bret, your link isn't working. I used your Blog link to reach your article.

Thanks, Laurie. I fixed the link but something weird is up with the post. It doesn't seem to show up on the main blog page. Not sure what's happening with it.

It shows up for me on your main blog page. Just needed to scroll down a few articles.

It is further down as the publish date is listed as 1/7/10. You should be able to correct this Bret when you go to edit the post and look at the options on the right side of the page.

Thanks, Neil. I'm still learning all the various options of Wordpress. Thanks for pointing this out!
Thanks for the link. I am relatively new here but had a 24" iMac that I used a Huey Pro for and was pleased with the results. I since upgraded to the 27" iMac, which is very fast and am not happy with the results from the Huey Pro. I am wondering if others have experience with the Huey Pro and iMacs or Bret, if you think that the software would help to resolve my issues. Colors are definitely off.
By the way, the link did not work for me, I got page not found

Not sure what keeps happening w/ the link but it's fixed. Again.
Bradley: Are you running the latest version of the Huey Pro software? If not, you might try downloading it and running the monitor through another calibration. If that doesn't work I would call the maker of Huey Pro (Pantone?) and ask for suggestions. There may be something funky w/ the new iMacs that you have to account for in the calibration process. Those are both shots in the dark but I can't think of any reason why the Huey would work on one computer but not another barring an inconveniently timed hardware failure.
