Canon 1D Mark III 400mmm F5.6L Iso640

Walking back home down by the river this little Robin kept jumping infront of me along the path, once he landed on a tree I just had to get a shot, hope you like

Hi Bronia , the lighting looks very harsh with the tree trunk almost blowing .This pulls the eye somewhat for me .A tadge off the top perhaps to lessen the back ground high?Nice you got a catchlight and the pose is very nice .

I agre wiyh Mark regarding the tree, the bottom left is particularly bright but could easily be toned down a bit. A classic pose well caught.

Hey Bronia

The re-post just goes to show how important processing can be and it shows the image off for what it is, a beautiful portrait of an iconic bird, well done :toast:

Cheers

Lovely robin Bronia. Second one for me too. Agree the lighting wasn't helping you - quite shadowy.
