A slight move away from what I would normally do so don't quite know if this works or not.

Great water colour and a high impact shot. Somehow the one on the left is a bit big and blocky and draws my eye. I wonder what it would have looked like with the geese smaller in the frame and possibly with a lower POV??
Not quite working for me. Sorry. The colours are great and I really like the fact that this is a 'found' image rather than something contrived or organised but the comp is too tight and the birds are going the wrong way.
On a more positive note, I really liked the woodcock image you posted previously, again, largely because it was a found picture.
I have to echo Chris's comments above, the light on the water is fantastic but too many other factors work against this image I'm afraid
Cheers

Yes I think I have to agree. The lighting on the water was the main factor for hanging on to this but I think its destined for the bin.
Many thanks.

No need to echo the above. I really love the water. Hope you will have a second chance.

I really like the colour and texture of the water, but i would be inclined to have a lower angle to make the geese stand out more. This way you would keep the colour of the water but would lose the texture of it. Have you got another image where the left hand birds beak isnt blending into the darkness of the wave?
