Ouray Ice Festival
Texas was a distant memory as soon as I watched the sunrise on Pikes Peak last Friday morning and as I drove towards the San Juans that same morning I began regretting my decision to move my family to Texas to be closer to family. Anyways, I spent a nice long weekend ice climbing and watching some of the best climbers in the world scale the icy cliffs of Ouray's Box Canyon. Thanks for looking. Other shots can be found here:

Ive been dying to get out there for that festival but every year it falls at a bad time :frown:
Anyhow, glad you had fun, Justin. I really like 2 & 3 here, 3 is a cool B&W. A little too much glare in #1 for me.

Is that an inverted vignette on the first one, Justin? I really like 2 and 3, especially 2 where you used the rocks on the left and right as a frame.

looks like fun Justin! I like #2 the best, with its comp, colors, and action.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Paul, I used a matte frame for #1.

Good to see you back here, Justin. #2 is a sweet shot!

I'm really liking #2 Justin. I like how the snow is lit by the sun on the left and creates a really nice contrast with the blue ice wall.

Not too crazy about the vignette treatment personally.

Great shots. #2 is the best, and I agree with others, get rid of the white vignetting on #1.

Looks like alot of fun, I'd agree with most others in that number 2 is my fav.

Thanks again, guys. The more I look at #1, the less I like the matte I applied. Thanks for your honest and helpful comments.
