It's no secret I love the ocean, I spent a winter hanging out a Royal Palms and Pt. Vincente. I've seen some purpose done motion blur studies of fall color posted here on CANP I'm sorry i can't remember the Photographer my apologies to them whomever they are. As the light was failing and a big set came in I tried to capture the breaking wave by following the swell in the viewfinder with the 300mm telephoto, because of the low light my camera tried to compensate by slowing the shutter speed. I accidentally set up a motion blur situation. I'm more of a straight photographer but I like the effect this created in the image. I don't even typical shoot spray and foam flow in the surf at slower shutter speeds to blur the motion, but now I'm not so sure I might try it.

It looks like a good shutter speed to me. It helps to convey motion as opposed
to freezing the scenic. Good color, too.

I really like the effects you achieved with this shot. The exposure is just right, conveying some cool power and motion, as is the nice offshore breeze which adds to all the diagonals

I'm enjoying this one a lot. Shapes, colors and textures all work well here. I might consider a small crop off the left side, but this more than works as presented too. Nice work... err accident.
