Well pebbles actually...
It has been quite some time since I last posted for personal reasons. But today I spent a most enjoyable day on the Kent coast and found some skylarks rummaging around for food. Not much else about though..
A bit of a crop here, but I think it works.

That'll do for me ! Crest up helps too.
Lovely shot.

Top shot. I really like everything about this image. Perhaps tone down that large light coloured pebble at bottom left but that really is a minor nit.

We say this is not typical habitat for skylarks, yet there are many on this particular beach at present. A stunning image, Fran, one of your very best imo.

Lovely shot.

It's a very nice portrait and though it might not seem like 'classic' skylark habitat the pebbles provide a really nice foreground

A lovely habitat/environmental image, with 'truck' loads of content, nice one!
