Common Kestrel eating + repost
Some time ago, I came across this eating Kestrel. Perhaps not the most photogenic scene, but I couldn't resist photographing it.
Nikon D80 @ 500 mm. iso 250, F 4.5, 1/125 sec. on a beanbag from a car window.

Well caught Sandra, especially with prey.

The colours look very natural, with a beautiful, subtle BG, which compliments the Kestrel well. Sadly it does look a little 'soft'. Might be tempted to add more room above and less below the bird, if possible.

Great shot, I agree with Stephen as I feel it needs a bit more room above the bird.

Nits already mentioned. A well captured image though and nice background.

Very nice Sandra. Indeed a bit soft but that's easily fixed.

Lovely! Agree could do with a little sharpening (maybe a little contrast too? - not sure). Background colours very nice.

Great capture but as mentioned above, the cropping and processing could be improved.

Brillant pose captured, a tad over to the left for me Sandra giving the image more room on the right.A lovely, natural view of nature at work  :wavey:

Thanks for your comments everyone. I've tried to improve the sharpness and made a different crop. Is this one any better?
