A great day with these at Caerlaverock inthe snow last week, but rather than post some more flight shots the other aspect of a day with these swans that I love is just how loudly and regularly they communicate with each other.
Here's two engaging in some discussions!!

Hi Mark, love the idea, white on white etc but it just doesnt pop n snap like it should, maybe a lower viewpoint would help? the one on left makes a good portrait though.
It looks like they are arguing whilst they walk! Is this a crop or do you have one that includes more of the trail of feet as that is a nice feature of the image? Great eye contact between the two

I like this very much. The foot trails really add to it. I think the white on white has worked very well.

Certainly works for me, and the footprints are the icing. A slightly lower pov may have been better, but I know it's not always possible under certain conditions. Nice one.

Hello Mark.
Love the idea and it as worked really well but I feel a little more room on the bottom and left would help the bird on the left sit a little better in the frame.
I like the POV on this one as lower and we might start to lose foot trail which just make this image for me.

Lovely image - made me smile! I hope you have more of the sequence because I'd love to see one of the bird on the left with nothing else in the frame except the footprints.
