Need a bigger image Lynn, otherwise it looks great. You can do 720 pixels at 199KB. Or link to your website.

Looks like a nice grassland capture with soft light and warm tones - would love to see him bigger. Good choice of where you placed him in the frame.

Good comp. The snow looks a little too cyan for me but other than that it's a good shot...would also like to see it bigger.

I failed at making it bigger via editing on this page. Not sure how really without reposting. Then it says I have to wait 72 hours before posting again.

My blog doesnt have him alot bigger.

Any ideas on reposting the picture bigger?

Jack I would like the snow lighter as well. I have seen folks do it in photoshop but I can't remember how. Lessons to be learned soon :)

The shot was at dark and had to really sqeeze the camera hard to get all the light possible and with a 5.6 Aperture. He was fun to shoot as he almost seemed to enjoy the attention.

thanks all for the comments--it really helps when during this learning process. I want to make sure I get things done right.

thanks

Lynn

Like the eye contact and the surrounding grasses. Nice comp as well.

Hi Lynn,

There are several ways to correct color casts, but a quick & dirty method is to bring up the color balance tool, select highlights and find the Cyan - - Red slider. You want to add the opposite color to Cyan (red, in this case) to cancel it out.

I really like the composition.

Hi Dan

Thanks for your comments. I have looked at your stuff and very nice work. I loved the baby goats. Your wildlife stuff was really good.

Thanks Jeremy

Working on getting it bigger. I wrote to the forum guys to see if I can repost a bigger version.
Glad you liked it. Look forward to seeing your stuff when your website is ready.

Everything looks good here as suggested. You'll need to take your original image and downsize to 720 pixels on the wide side and then repost to this post. You can repost to your own post, you just can't start another new post within the 72 hours. The snow is a little blue so I suggest using a hue and saturation layer which has individual colors where you can reduce the blue or cyan. Hope this helps.

Ken

I think maybe I have fixed the snow issue. We will try and post Wednesday. I tried it the way you suggested but it did some funky things to other areas. Mind you I really don't know what I'm doing :) However, I did find another way through the Color Range thing--not sure I know enough to explain it but it worked :)---I think. I will repost and let you all be the judge :)

I think the only thing I can do is paste a URL of my blog site. I have posted the before and after picture on fixing the snow in this picture.

When you get to the blog--click on the picture and it should give you a larger view along with the before and after. It will give you a large picture--all you have to do is use the explore page drop down on the top right and reduce it to 50% and should be good to go.

I hope everyone will check out the new changes in the snow and see how it turned out.

thanks again for all the comments and suggestions
