Trying to catch up on some processing and have just returned to some of my Red Kite shots from late last year. I wasn't too sure on how to deal with this one but tried dragging a slight gradient across it in Lightroom which seems to have better balanced things and helped the colours in the rainbow.

A beautiful image, and to get the kite inline with the rainbow works very well.

Hello Simon.
Cracking capture and love the treatment you have given this with the gradient.

Excellent shot - got the bird in the right band of the rainbow spectrum too!

Simon, I don't know why you chose to share this version of the shot and not the one you shared on ukBPN but... I like the other one more - not to say that this isn't also fantastic

Thanks for the comments everyone, much appreciated.
John, I did post the other one a little while back here (just too slow to do so at t'other place). I ignored this one at first pass for some reason, but out of the two think I actually prefer it.
