I was on a photographic trip to Skeleftea in Sweden looking for golden eagles last February. This great spotted woodpecker came and sat in front of the hide for a few seconds and then flew away.

Lovely capture, Ron, a well composed image. Nice bird, sharp, bright & perfectly exposed in the snowy conditions. Might just lose the three OOF "domino" circles top right as my eye are drawn to them, but no big deal. Cliff

Well composed image as stated by Cliff. I didn't notice the dominos until they were pointed out, so they don't worry me too much, but there is a very strong blue cast over the whole picture. Other than that, a cracking shot of a bird and its surroundings.

Proper winters feel to this one - I'd take the top domino only out if I were changing anything.
Very nice indeed Ron. As a very minor aside, I think I'd consider cropping a smidge off the left hand edge just to eliminate that little bit of space between the tree trunk.
