CANP Banner - New Year Sunset
Even though I am one of the judges and therefore ineligible, I thought I would kick off the banner contest with an image I made out in the Mojave desert on New Year's day. However, if I am the only entry, I guess I will have to give myself the prizes.

A free year on NPN and one of Michael Gordon's excellent paper profiles (I already have two of his profiles, but just bought some new paper) sure would be nice.

G9, handheld

Hi Harley

Not a bad way to start off the contest. Lots of great color there. Thanks to you and Preston for putting this together!

Harley what size was the pano before you resized it or what's your secret I'd like to give you a run for your money.

I actually used Photoshop to stretch this one a little bit. It was already cropped to a pano, but did not meet the required specs, so I gave it a tug with PS. Given the nature of the image, it did not create any weird distortions.
