Red Breasted Merganser
Being stateside now i havent posted here for a while but i still look in most days, I have just come back from a weeks shooting in New Jersey, I have put images up of long tailed ducks and harlequin ducks on my blog over the last few days, I am going through the shoot and came across this one, I was shooting from a rocky jetty and noticed that the RBM flew over the end at the end of the day but stayed mainly out of range during the day, One evening i made it to the end and waited and managed a few images before the sun set
Hope you are all well

Nicely captured Dave but seems a little contrasty to me with a few hot spots within the whites.. I'm guess it's just a processing thing but it's fine image nonetheless.
