Nice composition mark but I find the image too dark and lacking in detail

Hmm perhaps it needs a little more exposure. or my monitor is too bright

Hi Mark, the second is a lot better brightness and colour wise but the focal point of the seal stretching lacks sharpness. I think it may be the back flippers that gives this effect as the more I look at it the head seems sharp. Interesting photograph though, and the composition of the seals in front really adds to the image along with the rim light along the length of their body's. Have you got this in a landscape format? TFS.

The idea is good but its just a tad to dark for me
I much prefer the repost but maybe a tad off the bottom.

Nice idea with a monochromatic effect. Would be nicer to develop the idea to suit b&w conversion IMO. I for one would be happier with a little less foreground. Look forward to more from here using this technique.

The mood and atmosphere you have captured Mark is very good and I like the different shapes, sizes of the seals, the light is nice too
