Magpie
Whilst out with Fran and Phil last weekend trying desperately to find something to shoot, this Magpie posed for a while on top of a straw heap. It was all I shot all day!

Was wondering if you were going to post one of these... glad you did  A nice image of the little poser, and I am glad at least you got something worth posting!

Apart from a couple of images, I managed to catch a cold :frown:

I did comment on this once, Tony, but my comment seems to have been deleted, along with one by Fran! Great pose, nice detail in both blacks and whites, and a good background.

David, I uploaded and deleted the shot 3 times due to it being desaturated with each upload. This one for some reason (nothing different done) looks the same as the processed image??

Grreat exposure and a nice image of a much maligned but undoubtedly handsome member of the corvid tribe.

I'd take this as the fruit of a whole day's work, it's a belter. Great exposure, great detailing and a classic Magpie pose make it work for me

This is really good. I see a few of these every time I look out of my window and I've yet to capture a decent shot - they are so, so difficult.
